The Seatruck Dock will automatically repair and recharge the Seatruck at the cost of power, while a built-in terminal allows players to customize the appearance of the Seatruck and its modules. The star of this update is the new Seatruck Dock building, which finally allows players to safely dock Subnautica: Below Zero 's Seatruck vehicle into their base. ![]() The latest update entitled What The Dock has brought some highly-requested features into the game that longtime fans have been hoping to see. RELATED: A New Subnautica Game Appears to Be In Development Post-release, the game has received a steady stream of updates that have helped improve the experience and add new content. The removal of several vehicles such as the iconic Seamoth and Cyclops, the change from a silent protagonist to a more talkative player character, and a more compressed environment were all controversial design choices. After spending several years in early access during a tumultuous development process that saw the game's story go through dramatic rewrites and writer changes, the game's release was mostly well-received despite some key differences from the original. Subnautica: Below Zero is the arctic-themed ocean exploration sequel to the indie hit Subnautica developed and published by Unknown Worlds. Subnautica: Below Zero players can now construct a Seatruck Dock for their vehicle, create custom game modes with hand-tailored gameplay options, and will hopefully encounter far fewer bugs thanks to a new round of polishing. If the roof is not being used for anything else (particularly Solar Panels in shallower water), there is enough flat space to place Exterior Growbeds on it.Subnautica: Below Zero has rolled out a major free update, What The Dock, which adds some important new features and gameplay content. It allows the player to customize their docked vehicle and fabricate upgrades for it, although all upgrades available through the Vehicle Upgrade Console can also be produced through the standard fabricator. The Vehicle Upgrade Console can only be constructed in the Moonpool. ![]() This allows the player to freely exit and enter the Seabase outside their vehicle without needing to use a hatch. The Moonpool also allows the player to access their base from the water via two ladders on either end of the bottom entrance. ![]() It should be built far enough so that a vehicle will not crash into the seafloor when it ejects, but close enough so that a Prawn Suit can easily reach the entrance with its thrusters. It is recommended to have an appropriate amount of space between the bottom entrance of the Moonpool and the sea floor. ![]() The rate of charging at a Moonpool is much faster than if one were to use a Power Cell Charger. Docked vehicles will be charged from the base's Energy, consuming the base's Energy to restore an equivalent amount of Energy to the vehicle's Power Cells. It can, however, undock vehicles without power. The Seabase that the Moonpool is attached to must have power in order to dock vehicles. It can be used to recharge, contain, and customize the Seatruck and the Prawn Suit. The Moonpool is a Seabase module which is constructed with the Habitat Builder.
